Tropical Surprise!

A little experiment I did, with a new way of making eyes/noses, and seeing what I could do with cotton and minky together.

This was made as a get-well present for someone very special, who is currently not in tip top health...hopefully it'll help her get through the rough time.

The little blue cat thing is sort of a sneak peak to a new species/character I've designed lately, and will shortly be putting up a finished example of. Curious? You'll just have to wait and see!

I am making this pattern available for commissioning, too.

Unfortunately, I forgot to measure the height...I think it's around 10 inches tall, if not a little under. It's got floppy limbs, and a ribbon tail, with beads in its belly and feet to help weigh it down a little. Machine embroidered felt eyes/nose.
